Farnborough, UK – 4 November 2014 – Ark Data Centres’ Chief Technology Officer, Jason Liggins is to present in a webinar series on how to diversify risk via hybrid cloud, colocation and data centre portfolio investing.

Starting online on 6^th November 2014, the first in a three part event series will address cloud and data centre portfolio investing, cloud bursting, and demand response. Participants of the webinar will receive financial models, case studies, modular design insight, national and international supply overviews, and trend assessments to better equip decision makers for cloud, colocation, and data centre planning.

Aimed at technology leaders, IT procurement managers, and senior financial staff who wish to understand best practices in selecting cloud, colocation, and data centre alternatives, Liggins will present on the holistic approaches to producing the next generation of data centres and how to flex solutions to meet requirements.

Former Senior Enterprise Architect at the Ministry of Justice, Liggins will draw on decades of data centre experience building modular solutions for air handling and heat extraction that have for many years been utilised in hospitals, clean rooms and industrial kitchens. He’ll demonstrate why this approach makes sense financially, environmentally and why customers should care.

The multi-part webinar series will run on 6^th November, 11^th December and 15^th January along with USA partner WiredRE to facilitate cloud, colocation and data centre planning for 2015. The first event in the series will specifically address cloud and data centre portfolio investing, cloud bursting, and demand response, followed by global data centre supply trend and opportunities, and a feature on data centre modular total cost analysis.
