Ark offer Public Sector lowest industry TCO in G-Cloud 4 by Ark Data Centres, 1st November 2013

ARK Data Centres has been chosen to provide its high quality and efficient solutions to the public sector in the latest round of the G-Cloud framework.

It means the whole of Ark’s offerings are available via the Cloudstore central purchasing portal for government departments, local authorities and the wider public sector wishing to purchase data centre services.

It is the second time Ark has been selected for G-Cloud, having being chosen to supply Cloud services for G-Cloud III earlier this year. Now under Lot 4, Specialist Cloud Services Ark offer secure data centre solutions of Business Impact Level 3 and above.

Cloudstore was set up in a bid to drive efficiency and adoption of ICT services in the public sector.

Stephen Hall, Sales & Marketing Director of Ark, said: “The public sector need efficiencies in ICT services without compromising quality, security or operational excellence. This is at the core of everything Ark does.

“Cloud computing is becoming increasingly important in everyday life, and the public sector is no different.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our expertise through the latest round of G-Cloud and it is a testimony to the excellence here at Ark that we have been successful.”

Ark has headquarters in Wiltshire, and has two dedicated, state-of-the-art data centre campus locations in Farnborough, Hampshire and Corsham, Wiltshire, with additional offices in London.

Ark’s data centres, known as Arks, are modular, tailored or bespoke facilities with infrastructure solutions to meet the exact requirements of the customer. Customers can lease by Data Room, Aisle or Suite depending on technical and operational requirements.
