Ark Data Centres’ CEO Joins techUK Public Services Board by Ark Data Centres, 28th July 2015

Ark Data Centres today announced that Huw Owen, CEO, Ark Data Centres has been invited to join the techUK Public Services Board (PSB). The PSB sets the strategic direction of techUK’s public sector programme and engages with senior Government leaders to transform public services through technology. Each year, techUK members elect eight SMEs to join the Board.

Commenting on his appointment, Huw Owen said: “I am very pleased to be given an opportunity to be part of techUK’s public sector team at what is a pivotal time for UK Plc and all its business partners. I look forward to the challenges ahead and working with my fellow board members. Together I am convinced that we can ensure that techUK plays a central role in making a very real contribution to this incredibly important sector.”

The PSB brings together senior public sector leaders from tech companies that are engaged in digital public services delivery. It aims to improve the engagement between Government and the technology industry, provide leadership on critical policy issues related to public services transformation, and champion better use of disruptive technology to drive efficiencies in Government and public services.
