Ark & Norland announced as Finalists in the PFM Awards 2013 by Ark Data Centres, 4th July 2013

PFM, The Premises and Facilities Management publication will today announce online, that the partnership of Ark and Norland Managed Services has been shortlisted in the PFM Awards 2013 category ‘Partners in Expert Services – IT’.

For more than 20 years, Premises and Facilities Management (PFM) has been the FM sector’s source of best practice guidance, service suppliers, products and applications, news and jobs.

The PFM Awards 2013, now in its 20th year, is the most sought after Awards in the facilities management sector. It recognises best practice in partnering in facilities management and support services between service suppliers and their clients, as well as the skills and enterprise of people engaged in this sector.

The winners are to be announced at the awards dinner at the Brewery, London on the 6th November.

The short-listing is for the partnership between Ark, who design, construct and operate high security data centres and Norland Managed Services, who work with Ark to provide critical engineering and maintenance services. Norland provide services, which include a planned maintenance programme and 24-hour support at each of Ark’s data centres.

Ian Williams, Ark’s Technical Operations Manager, said “This is really good news. Ark has been working with Norland since 2009 having expanded the contract to over 30 engineers and with Norland responsible for the two data centre campuses in Wiltshire and Hampshire. Norland maintain our data centres and demonstrate exceptional performance through continual improvements in quality, health, safety and environmental management. One of our clients remarked that you can’t tell where Ark start and the Norland engineers finish, the relationship is so close.”
